Hockety Pockety Wockety?

M and I are experiencing The Sword and the Stone together for the first time. Hooray for the library right across the street. Don't hold your breath for R to be taking a trip down memory lane with this movie though. He claims that this movie is lame and that he even thought so when he was a kid. I however love it! For some reason it just makes me happy. And silly. There are lots of silly things in this one. M, who is now getting a sense of humor of his own, is even giggling at things before I pave the way with my own giggles. Happy viewing any parents of 2-year-olds.

This is one of my fav Disney movies. Ryan must be misremembering it since there is no way it's lame. :) We watch this movie on rainy days when we need to laugh it always works.

Yea! A fellow lover of Wart and Merlin and Archimedes! Thank you, I know that Ryan is wrong, and now I have more proof than before :)

I absolutely love that movie. It's one of my favorites. I should show it to Charlie. How do you like the library? Have you found any other fun spots? I am counting on you for my future entertainment for next year. Just kidding. We miss you and hope you are doing great. Tell Miles hi and that Charlie still asks to go to his house.

Aw! I just posted on your facebook wall, and now here's a message from you. The library is pretty cool, although we still haven't made it there for storytime on Tuesday. Once we do I can report on it. And don't worry, I'll find LOTS of things to do for when you FIVE get back here :)

"...anyone can pull it once it's been pulled."

Classic line.

You gotta love Madame Mim:

"...horrible, wholesome sunshine."

"You see! I win, I win! Aren't I hideous boy, perfectly revolting?"

I'm also a big fan of The Sword and the Stone. I think it's clever. Too bad Ryan is a fun hater.

Clark was addicted to the book for quite sometime. It was a longer kid version and would take me a good 15 to 20 minutes to read it. I have to admit I was happy to return that one back! But we do love the book and movie.
