So there you go, another list that proves that I'm more interested in myself than writing anything that might actually be interesting for all of you. "Thai food, feminist prose, and angry girl music of the indie rock persuasion."

Oh - I think you forgot "Greatest Hits" by Prince.
Thanks Matt. And "Greatest Hits" by Prince. Whew, that was close.
I value. I will obey.
I love that you quoted "10 Things I Hate About You"!
I'm so glad that you noticed! Although how could any of us have forgotten the thirty times we watched that movie?
Kendahl,
Nice list. My taste in music has definitely changed in the last few years. I've gone softer, more acoustic, and more folksy. I'll have to check out some of that music. I really love the Shins - they're the exception to my growing tendency toward soft, acoustic stuff. Lately, I pretty much only listen to Iron & Wine, Ray LaMontaigne, and The Decemberists. If you haven't heard these groups' stuff, I highly recommend them.
I'm also a big Pat Metheny fan.
Hey! I just bought The Decemberists for the first time 2 days ago! I still haven't listened to it, but I'll let you know what I think. I've also heard from several people that they think I would like Iron & Wine, but I have yet to hear any of their stuff.
