me, making a mistake by saying: "Hey M, I signed you up for swimming lessons, and they start in April!"
M, gasping: "Really?!"
me: "Yep!"
M: "What month is it?"
me: "March."
M: "What is the day today?"
me: "March 19th."
M: "How many more days are there in March?"
me: "19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31!"
M: "Oh, okay."
(later)
M: "What day in March is it today?"
me: "The 19th."
M: "Oh, I thought it was already the 21st!"
Here we go for the rest of the month!

I made the mistake of telling Ella her birthday was after Easter. (like 6 weeks after!) I should've said Mother's Day.
I just love M! I love your Things M Says posts. They make me laugh and remind me of when I was a young mom with hilarious (and exhausting) little kids. :)
