So AZ isn't so bad. We open the windows and night and have fresh air. Hallelujah! We have some friends too. I'm not so keen on constantly saying I want to leave the 6 month summers anymore now that I have some friends to call my very own. :) There's also something to be said for knowing an area too. I have to say some of my acclimatizing has to do with the Children's Museum, preschool, gymnastics, my gym, and various stores like Trader Joe's where I feel like everyone knows my name. Maybe AZ is growing on me after all...

Not to mention every November you get to have 43 of the loudest, fastest, prettiest cars in the world drive 400 miles around in a "circle" that you could go see a lot easier than I could.
I'm really glad you're feeling at home.
I love Trader Joe's and miss it terribly. In CA we lived right behind one, quite literally...the delivery trucks were behind our fence. None out here in Ithaca, but his summer I found one near Philadelphia. Granted I had to drive 20 minutes each way, which I did several times, and to which I found totally worth the gas price!
Glad you're feeling at home. I usually find it takes me about a year to finally get the feel of things. So good job at only 6 months!
Ha...good for you. I think you may be happier with AZ than me. But, your post does remind me...I do have friends here (including you) and I am happy even if I hate the weather and the scenery of the Phoenix metropolis. Take care.
That's such a nice feeling, I hope you don't have to move any time soon!
